Component & Material Inspection

Depending on the product category, incoming materials may include display modules, touch components, PCBs, computing modules, memory, storage devices, power components, speakers, cameras, wireless modules, mechanical components, cables, and connectors. Incoming materials are checked according to the applicable production and product requirements before being released for manufacturing, with the inspection method determined by the component type and its function in the finished product.

PCB Assembly & AOI Inspection

Electronic assemblies are produced using SMT manufacturing processes, with Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment used to inspect PCB assemblies and identify potential assembly defects. AOI helps detect issues that may not be immediately visible through conventional visual inspection, supporting production consistency and allowing potential problems to be identified earlier in the manufacturing process.

Display & Touch Assembly

For Interactive Flat Panels, the production process may include display assembly, touch integration, lamination, functional testing, and calibration. The lamination process is particularly important for maintaining optical performance and touch interaction, while display and touch functions are checked after assembly according to the applicable product specifications.

Touch Accuracy Testing

Depending on the model and touch technology, testing may evaluate touch response, positioning accuracy, multi-touch functionality, edge-area response, writing interaction, and overall touch consistency. For OEM projects, specific touch-performance requirements can be defined and reviewed during the technical specification stage.

Display Calibration

Jorarri uses display calibration equipment as part of its production and quality-control infrastructure. Depending on the product model, inspection may cover image display, resolution, brightness, color performance, screen uniformity, pixel-related defects, signal input, and display interfaces, with acceptance criteria based on the applicable product specification.

Functional Testing

Before finished products are released, their primary functions are checked against the applicable product configuration. Testing may include power-on operation, display and touch functions, audio, USB and HDMI interfaces, network and wireless connectivity, cameras, microphones, operating systems, and other configured peripherals. The exact test sequence varies by product; an Interactive Flat Panel, for example, requires a different functional testing process from a Digital Signage Display.

Burn-In & Reliability Testing

Some electronic failures may not become apparent during a short functional test. For applicable products, burn-in testing is therefore used as part of the reliability-control process, allowing products to operate for a defined period under controlled conditions to help identify potential early failures. Depending on the product and project requirements, the factory's testing infrastructure also supports temperature, humidity, vibration, environmental, and burn-in testing.

EMC Testing

Jorarri maintains EMC testing capability within its quality infrastructure to support product development and compliance work for applicable products. Where specific regulatory documentation is required, the applicable testing and certification requirements are reviewed according to the destination market and final product configuration.

Final Inspection

Final inspection takes place after assembly and functional testing and focuses on the overall condition and configuration of the finished product. Depending on the product, this may include appearance, display condition, touch operation, ports, accessories, labels, product and software configuration, packaging, quantity, and order-specific requirements. For OEM projects, additional inspection requirements can be agreed upon before mass production.

Quality Control for OEM & ODM Projects

Customized products require additional quality considerations because changes to hardware, mechanical structures, software, branding, or packaging can affect production and testing requirements.
Before mass production, Jorarri reviews the agreed product specification, component configuration, mechanical drawings, software configuration, branding, packaging, certification requirements, and inspection requirements. Where appropriate, a production or pre-production sample can be provided for approval, establishing a clear reference for subsequent mass production.

Certifications & Compliance

Our certification and compliance capabilities include ISO 9001, CE, FCC, RoHS, EMC, LVD, and BIS, with applicable certifications varying by product model, configuration, and destination market.
